Lukman Y. Salifu, a corporate member of the Ghana Institution of Engineers, has over 22+ years’ experience in the water and environmental sanitation sector and is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of WasteCare Associates since 2003.

Environmental Specialist and Marine Consultant involved in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIAs), Strategic Environmental Assessment (SEA), Auditing and Monitoring and various aspects of Marine Environmental Pollution prevention and control, mainly, compliance with MARPOL Protocols, IOPP regimes and Health and Safety in ships, port environments and in industry.

Mr. James Akonor Afari holds a Final Certificate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, Ghana and Parts I & II Certificates of the Institute of Data Processing Management, London, IDPM, now IMIS. Mr. Afari is a Chartered Accountant with well over thirty –one (31) years post qualification experience in Accounting, Auditing, Taxation and Finance, Local Governance and spanning from the public service, commerce, industry, education, private practice, consultancy and local governance. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (Ghana).

Kodwo Beedu Keelson is a member of the Ghana Institute of Engineers and Civil and Environmental Engineering Lecturer at Kaaf University College.

Kwasi Poku, a senior member of Ghana Institute of Planners (GIP) and Union of African Population Studies (UAPS) has over 30 years’ experience.

With over 20 years of experience and a member Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GIS), Kofi Obeng Ayirebi has been involved in Costing, bid preparation and tendering process and management and technical auditing and remediation, and works measurement for related assignments in WasteCare.

A Legal Expert with expertise in development and review of legal instruments, conventions, protocols, statutes of operation, bye-laws, drafting of legal frameworks and policy implementation plans and development of internal procedures for issuance of permits

Selasi is a member of Chartered Institute of Water and Environmental Management, UK and has 8 years’ experience in environmental sanitation assessment and auditing, field operation/surveys, pre and post WASH related contracts management, construction supervision, development of facility operation and maintenance management plans and community (mainly urban poor, rural areas and small towns) WASH infrastructure upgrading schemes; WASH data (primary and secondary) collection and analysis; preparing of proposals, organizing and presenting papers and research findings.

Michael Owusu Agyapong, a member of the Ghana Institute of Engineers and the sanitary engineer of WasteCare and has been responsible for the design, construction supervision and management of all assignments carried out by WasteCare involving the provision of water and sanitation facilities especially at the District, Municipal and Metropolitan Assembly level.
