Brief Profile:
Samiratu Alhassan has over 12 years’ experience in general office management, data/database management, organization and management of workshops, training seminars and conferences, field surveys.

As the secretarial and project support assistant (S&PSA) has been responsible for the general office upkeep and management of the operations and activities of WasteCare since its establishment.  She has provided secretarial and event management support during major conferences and workshops.  Notable ones are the Regional consultations on the use of District Environmental Sanitation Strategy and Action Plan (DESSAP) Handbook as part of the preparation of DESSAPs and the 1st National Environmental Sanitation Conference  (NESCON) 2010- Building Partnerships to Scale-up Improved Environmental Sanitation Services.  Also as a projects support assistant, she has been invovled in projects such as the Traininng of District Environmental Health Officers (DEHO) on Enabling Elements for Effective Environmental Sanitation Management – 4E+ Sanitation Management.  She has also been involved in projects to gain hands-on experiences such as survey assistant in Environmental Sanitation Assessment and Audits for small owns as as value-chain analysis (VCA) of solid wastes in Accra.
